Her Excellency Ambassador Gladys Neven Lundwe and representatives from key Zambian institutions shared insights on economic developments, emphasizing a favorable business environment.
Discussions centered on Agri-business and Agro-produce, with eleven Swedish companies expressing keen interest in a growing collaboration. As we reflect on the fruitful discussions and connections forged during this seminar, we look forward to the continued strengthening of economic ties between Sweden and Zambia. On Friday 12 May, the Sweden Africa Chamber and the Embassy of Tanzania in Stockholm jointly organized a business breakfast seminar at the Tanzanian embassy together with Dr. Jacqueline Mkindi, the CEO of Tanzania Horticultural Association and Frank Mugeta Nyabundege, the Managing Director of Tanzania Agriculture Development Bank. The seminar was moderated by Åsa Jarskog, the President of Sweden Africa Chamber. The gathering saw the participation of member companies, as well as representatives from the Tanzanian government and businesses who highlighted the country's recent economic and political developments, emphasizing their commitment to creating a favorable business environment for foreign investors. With the purpose to strengthen the economic ties between Sweden and Tanzania, with topics related to Agri-business and Agro-produce. The Swedish companies expressed their interest in exploring the Tanzanian market and discussed potential areas for collaboration alongside Tanzanian businesses. Overall, the breakfast meeting proved to be a valuable networking platform, with participants expressing satisfaction and eagerness for future collaboration and partnership.
